Hello, I'm Craig I have no letters before or after my name, I'm no Church leader.
But I do have 5 Points, or Pillars, if you will...
1. for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name. - Psalm 138:2 KJB
2. In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. - John 1:1 KJB
3. For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. - Hebrews 4:12 KJB
4. Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth - John 16:13 KJB
5. yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written - Romans 3:4 KJB
Unlike TULIP my points are found in God's Holy Word
They compliment, even verify, each other
1. How God views His Word.
2. He calls His Son the Word
3. His word is alive
4. His Word comes alive when it's read with the Author as Teacher.
5. How God views men who do not view His Word as He does
Let's say we were explaining God to a child, we tell the child He is Omnipotent, all powerful, Omnipresent, everywhere at any given time,
Omniscient, all knowing, He knows the end from the beginning, He knows everything that will happen in the future...
The child may reply, "cuz He makes them happen"!
We would explain, yes He will cause certain things to happen, but also, the Bible tells us He knows our thoughts and actions, He knew them from before the world was created.
He doesn't make us think our thoughts, nor does He make us do the things we do, but He knows these things before we do them.
The point is that to say God KNOWS future events because He CAUSES all future events is utterly childish. And completely contrary to His Word.
When that statement comes from one that is not a child, particularly from an adult that claims to be a Christian, it becomes evil, wicked, mean and nasty.
It makes God the cause of sin.
And it calls God a liar, see point 5, above.
The one creature that loves to call God a liar, and would like to make men think He is the author of all sin is Satan.
And Satan found fertile ground in the mind of Calvin.
And anyone that would agree with Calvin, and his father Satan.
What I'm wondering is why are 'Calvinists' not treated as the heretics they are?
Calling God a liar, and making Him the author of sin is not CHRISTIAN DOCTRINE is it?
Do Christians do those things?
Then why don't these Biblical principles apply to them?...
A man that is an heretick after the first and second admonition reject - Titus 3:10 KJB
If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed:
For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds. - 2John 1:10 & 11
In The DARK SIDE of CALVINISM
GEORGE L. BRYSON says on page 16,
I do not consider Calvinists to be the enemy.
Well, ok, but God considers those that call Him a liar, and those that say HE is the author of all sin His enemies, does He Not?
Do not I hate them, O LORD, that hate thee? and am not I grieved with those that rise up against thee?
I hate them with perfect hatred: I count them mine enemies. - Psalm 139:21 & 22 KJB
Now ya know why I'm no Church leader, 'eh?
LOL
